Presidents Report 2023

Thank you to the club officers and others that have stepped in to take care of all the club needs this fall and are continuing to do so. I appreciate it very much. I am feeling much better but am still limited in what I can do.

Secretary report for November 2023

Minutes of the regular monthly business meeting of Blackhawk Woodcarvers; held on, November 15, 2023 at Ken Rock Community Center, 625 Adams street, Rockford, Illinois 61107.

Vice President Rich Dunphy opened the meeting at 9:32 with asking if there was any new business in the absence of President Don Stansfield.  There was discussion about the Christmas Party in December.  The party will be at Peterson Meadows and there will be a charge of $10 per person.  We will have an egg based Hot Dish.   Everyone is encouraged to bring carvings to use as table decorations.  There will be extra table for show and tell carvings.  There will be a December 1 deadline for signing up and paying the fee.  Larry will be taking dues for next year and your $10 for the Christmas party.  Larry says that we are solvent.  Dues are due the first off the New Year.  There was no new business.

Respectfully submitted, Steve Terrill, recording secretary.
