Presidents Report 2023
Thank you to the club officers and
others that have stepped in to take care of all the club needs this fall and
are continuing to do so. I appreciate it very much. I am feeling much better
but am still limited in what I can do.

Show and Tell
A couple of Christmas cheer by
Betty Gregory
Betty Gregory
brought in a relief carving of a fall leaf that was painted with oil paints
and sprayed with clear acrylic, and a relief carving of Elsa.
She also showed a bald headed Santa of Blue and Gold with an
artificial wig. She brought the wig to caver his bald
head because there was not enough space in her blank for hair.
John Gregory
brought in a large relief carving of a lion that he had done.
It was finished with a sprayed satin polyurethane finish.
Also he did a spoon with daffodils.
Larry Stenzel
brought in a Wood burning of a tree.
Gordy Moscinski
brought in a 3-D plate which he relief carved and painted of a fall farm
scene.
Tyrone Johnsen
brought in a medieval traveler which was carved of Sugar Pine and is sitting
on a rock. It was sealed with olive oil to reduce
chipping. Also a cat and a cute couple.
Beautiful Christmas carvings by
Don Stansfield
One final Christmas figure by
